At pidan, we're committed to creating lasting, meaningful impact for cats through initiatives that make a real difference. We also strive to celebrate the value and joy that cats bring to people's lives.
For every pidan product sold worldwide, RMB 0.15 is contributed to pidan Care, our charitable fund supporting stray cat welfare, including spay and neuter programmes and the promotion of TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return).

Through pidan Care, we hope not only to improve the lives of cats in loving homes, but also to support those living among our cities and communities. By raising awareness and providing practical assistance, we strive to bring greater care, protection, and lasting support to cats wherever they are.
Spay & Neuter
In 2023, pidan Care launched the "Spay Before You Feed" TNR initiative to promote a more responsible and sustainable approach to managing community stray cats.
To date, the programme has supported the sterilisation of more than 4,100 stray cats across 13 districts, 69 sub-districts, and 279 communities in Shanghai.
Donations
- July 2021 – Donated RMB 500,000 to support the rescue and temporary shelter of animals affected by the Henan floods following the devastating rainfall disaster of 20 July.
- December 2025 – Donated HK$300,000 to the Hong Kong Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) to support the rescue and post-disaster care of animals affected by the Tai Po fire in Hong Kong.

Fluffy Neighbourhood
Launched in 2023, this initiative connects a growing network of pet-friendly businesses to promote a culture of pet-friendly, mutually respectful communities. It encourages environments where pets can enjoy outings without inconveniencing others, while being welcomed and cared for.
Each participating business receives a pet-friendly care kit stocked with essential and emergency supplies for cats and dogs, enabling them to offer practical support and a more welcoming experience for pets and their owners.
